Massage Therapy

Massage is best known for reducing stress and muscle tension.  Not only does it feel wonderful but it can assist in controlling hypertension, decreasing tension headaches, improving blood circulation, digestive problems and sleeping patterns.  A major component of massage is decreasing injury recovery time.  By providing the client with a well designed treatment plan, the massage therapist can decrease pain levels, reduce swelling and stiffness, prevent tissue adhering and restore strength and range of motion.

Jian Yang

My name is Jian Yang and I am a Registered Massage Therapist living in Oshawa, Ontario. I graduated from Trillium College and have since been working with many clients to achieve their health goals.

I am very passionate about massage therapy believing that it brings a balance of body, mind and spirit to my clients. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a client who is experiencing stress, pain or discomfort come away from a massage session feeling calm, relaxed and feeling more at ease.

I have worked with clients of all ages including athletes and women in each trimester of pregnancy. My clients are diverse and so are their individual needs. My clients experience a multitude of issues including arthritis, lower back pain, headaches, whiplash and general aches and pains.

I enjoy getting to know my clients and get a lot of enjoyment from helping people work towards optimum health. I provide therapeutic massage and deep tissue massage therapies where each client’s particular needs are taken into account so that I can personalize each massage session to best suit the client’s needs.

I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you achieve your goals of a healthy and balanced life.

Dr. Rudy Asks some important questions of interest to Whitby residents - Chiropractor Whitby Dr. Rudy Asks...

How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
