Introducing Whitby Chiropractor Dr. Rudy Enns

I was cured of severe and debilitating migraine headaches when I was only 10 years old. No other doctor or specialist or hospital could find out what was wrong with me nor what to do with me. Because of the miracle of chiropractic I decided at age 12 to become a chiropractor too. I've chosen to devote my life to the healing arts because I believe that everyone has the right to live a healthy, happy and rewarding life. I am grateful I became a chiropractor and am privileged to be able to return the gift of health that was so graciously granted to me through chiropractic.

Whitby Chiropractor, Dr. Rudy EnnsI attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario, and graduated in 1976. I have an inquisitive mind and require new information constantly, and as a result I have attended innumerable postgraduate study of leading edge technologies within the scope of chiropractic and wellness therapeutics. I have attained particular expertise in the art and science of Mind-Body healing with the use of neuro-emotional techniques.

My mission is to help Durham residents of all ages achieve and discover their highest health potential and performance. I do this by identifying and eliminating physical, spinal, emotional and biochemical interferences to their health expression and  life energy, thereby enabling them to experience value,  and fulfillment, and success in their lives.

I am divorced and a grateful father of an intelligent and handsome son Roland, and beautiful and accomplished daughter Jenna. I also have a feisty cat called Squirt, who apparently "adopted me" at first sight as a kitten. I'm always out and about enjoying new people and places in and around the Durham area. I enjoy cooking, individual sports, and photography.

I usually make sure that I get a chiropractic adjustment at least once a week even when I'm travelling or out of the country. After all these years as a chiropractor, I'm still constantly surprised about how much better I feel after adjustments. I do my best to eat wholesome nutritious meals and frequent quality restaurants. I take a broad spectrum of nutritional supplements and homeopathic remedies when needed, to make sure I get all the necessary elements for maximum good health. I belong to a Whitby gym and exercise regularly, I especially enjoy my spin classes. It's such a great cardio workout. Recreationally, I especially enjoy hiking, cycling and downhill skiing and recently snowshoeing. I find that when live a healthy lifestyle I have a superior immune system, rarely get any problems and don't need to rely on drug mediction or flu vaccination to stay healthy.

Dr. Rudy Asks some important questions of interest to Whitby residents - Chiropractor Whitby Dr. Rudy Asks...

How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
